The Opportunity:
We are excited to add to our Client Success team an experienced sales professional who will work with the Regional Director of Client Success, as well as the Senior Vice President of Client Success to identify, pursue, and cultivate relationships at organizations that have historically been outside of Brkthru’s core business. This position requires a candidate to have a pioneering approach to cultivating business at significant scale and have an entrepreneurial spirit. This candidate will be expected to uphold and refine the Brkthru brand and promote Brkthru as a leader in paid digital advertising to prospective clients, current employees and candidates, and our industry. This is a critical and highly visible position that reports to the Regional Director of Client Success. This role requires internal and client travel.
Brkthru operates as a fully remote company with occasional mandatory travel for training and offsites, provided with advance notice. We uphold the expectation that all team members maintain a dedicated and reliable workspace, free from distractions, to ensure optimal productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Canvas your assigned territory and/or the entire US and identify large-scale prospective opportunities for partnership
- Initial focus verticals would be franchise brands (home services, consumer services, financial services, QSR restaurants), franchise groups, service providers to franchise brands, automotive groups, other brand-direct opportunities, and large agencies
- Drive the general business objective of this sales effort, reporting back to Regional Director and / or VP Client Success and CRO on learnings, competitive set, and market conditions
- Curate and maintain a solid pipeline of active and pending business, using CRM tools
- Source and identify potential customers through networking initiatives, cold calling, etc.
- Work cross-functionally with support teams to prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential and existing customers
- Ability to close and win business consistently
- Prepare regular sales reports as well as territory plans
- Exhibit an ability to maintain long term client relationships
- Responsible for receiving customer referrals and client testimonials
- Maintain an accurate and up to date CRM system at all times
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the marketing and advertising industry, in a sales or other client-facing capacity
- Successful track record in closing and growing business
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation and decision-making skills
- Experience having high level and strategic discussions with senior, executive, and c-suite decision makers
- Proven ability to identify, pursue, and close new business
- Relationships at organizations such as franchise groups, auto dealerships, and agencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft products suite, along with experience working in CRM systems (Zoho)
- Desire to grow professionally through ongoing education
- Strong negotiation skills
- High level knowledge of all technical aspects pertaining to the products and services offered by the company and paid digital advertising platforms and tactics
- Knowledgeable of industry competitors and peer group
Benefits
- This is a base plus commission position. The base compensation range for this role is between $90,000-125,000 commensurate with experience and skills identified during the interview process. On Target Earning is estimated to be $150,000-200,000 plus* year one. OTE includes the base salary and potential commission earnings. *OTE potential is dependent on individual performance and sales success.
