What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCA Personal Care Assistant - Country Terrace position at Broad Acres Nursing Home?
Country Terrace is seeking a full time 3rd shift Personal Care Aide.
Weekend Program also available!
Base wage with no experience is $13.00/hour. Wage is adjusted per years of experience.
In addition to the above listed base wages we also offer an extra $2.00/hour shift differential for hours worked during 2nd shift (2p-10p) and $1.00/hour shift differential for hours worked during 3rd shift (10p-6a).
The weekend program consists of the following:
Employees work every weekend and upon completion of both Saturday and Sundays complete shifts the employee will receive and extra $3.00/hour in addition to the above mentioned base wages AND included shift differentials!
Weekend employees are entitled to 6 approved scheduled weekends off during the year.
Employee must work at least 8 hours on Saturday and 8 hours on Sunday to qualify for the weekend program. Employee may also pick up extra hours on weekdays if the hours are available.
Paid Vacation Time effective immediately at the time of hire (part time is pro-rated and per diem is not eligible)
Paid Sick Time after 6 months (part time is pro-rated and per diem is not eligible)
Paid Personal Time after 1 year (part time is pro-rated and per diem is not eligible)
Paid Holidays (paid double time if working holiday - paid straight time if part time or full time and scheduled day off)
Position Summary:
Personal Care Aide (Country Terrace) Performs resident/patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents/patients as assigned. Assists in providing a positive physical, social, and psychological environment. Follows all Broad Acres policies and procedures.
