Position Overview:
The Lab Technician will support the engineering and quality teams by conducting tests, analyzing motor performance, and maintaining the functionality of laboratory equipment. This role is essential to ensuring that our products meet rigorous quality and performance standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and perform tests on HVAC motors to evaluate performance, durability, and efficiency according to established protocols.
- Collect, document, and analyze test data, providing detailed reports to the engineering and quality teams.
- Troubleshoot and repair lab equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to all safety and compliance standards.
- Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support product development and troubleshooting.
- Stay informed about new technologies, methods, and best practices related to HVAC motor testing.
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting using Microsoft Excel or similar tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in a lab environment.
- Mandarin speaking is a plus.
