What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Care Registered Nurse (Deerfield) position at Broad Street Home Care?
Broad Street Home Care is seeking Registered Nurses to work with private clients one-on-one, working Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays on a 12-hour shift.
Purpose of Position
This position will require the nurse to assist patients with medical tasks such as wound care, medication management, and other tasks as directed by the physician. Previous experience with patients within a home setting is preferred but not required. Additional duties include assisting with ADLs, ensuring client safety, and personal care needs. This position works closely with the Nurse Care Manager to ensure the client receives the proper care and support needed to maintain independence and remain safely in their home.
Position Requirements
- Current Illinois Nursing License
- 4 years or more of Nursing Experience
- Must possess the ability to navigate a phone application to clock in and out as well as enter case notes
- Demonstrate the ability to be a strong team player
- Ability to work independently and when circumstances warrant the ability to make decisions
- Previous home health experience preferred but not required
