Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently.
- Assist in bussing tables by clearing dishes, glassware, and silverware after guests have finished their meals.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.
- Support kitchen staff with food preparation as needed, ensuring all food handling guidelines are followed.
- Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or catering services.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to any guest needs or requests promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality field.
