Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a welcoming manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly to tables while ensuring proper presentation.
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide recommendations on menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high standards of service.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Must be able to lift heavy trays and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- A positive attitude with excellent communication skills is essential.
