Broadband of Indiana, LLC (BOI) is a telecommunication company. We install and maintain the lines and cables used by network communications companies. Currently, we are looking for a Field Office Supervisor to work in the Chattanooga, TN area.
Responsibilities
- Read and understand work orders.
- Provide proper prints and documents to field workers and subcontractors for job execution.
- Track job progress and communicate with the Construction Manager to provide updates.
- Communicate and assist with billing procedures.
- Adhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
- Assist Lead Tech with establishing all safety protocols on job sites.
- Work with Lead Tech to troubleshoot and correct issues that may arise on the jobsite.
- Must be able and willing to train and support the development of others.
Qualifications
- Previous work experience around existing utilities.
- Knowledge in OSHA, NESC, NEC and other similar construction guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license with clear MVR.
- Knowledge on how to perform all duties in telecommunications construction (such as pole transfers, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction).
- Knowledge of Microsoft and other mapping software to communicate, read, create, and edit files.
- Ability to interact and communicate with co-workers in a clear & professional manner.
- Ability to set up & maintain safe work areas.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
This job position is in a field setting. All jobs will be performed in the Chattanooga area allowing the candidate to be home most evenings. Some overnight stays will be required occasionally. When working in the field, weather conditions, such as extreme cold or heat, rain, snow, ice and wind should be expected.
Background check, pre-employment drug screening and MVR will be run on Candidate.
