JOB CLASSIFICATION: FULL-TIME
LOCATION: San Antonio, Texas
REPORTS TO: Bury Drop Supervisor
JOB DESCRIPTION
Bury Drop Technicians primary focus on the burial of CATV drop from the coaxial plant tap to the point of demarcation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Use and have knowledge of CATV hand tools
- Abel to manipulate connectors, fasteners, and wire using hand tools
- Perform assigned jobs using trenching shovels, concrete saws, and pickaxes
- Conduct other duties such as clean up, salvage of wrecked out materials and provided general assistance to other employees as needed
- Ensure safety guidelines are enforced and weekly safety topics are followed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to kneel, crawl, push, pull, bend, stop, lift, and dig
- This position is exposed to outside elements (rain, snow, sleet, and heat)
