Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer to join our Washington, D.C. team. This role will be integral to our Managed Services team, focusing on expanding BMG’s current software and hardware cloud offerings. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical solutions and client needs, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of our products and services.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with the Managed Services team to develop and present BMG-based cloud solutions for clients.
- Identify opportunities to expand BMG’s software and hardware offerings to meet evolving market demands.
- Provide technical expertise and consultation during sales presentations and client meetings.
- Work closely with clients to understand their operational needs and recommend tailored solutions.
- Support the sales team in crafting proposals, responding to RFPs, and designing customized system architectures.
- Serve as a liaison between sales, engineering, and product development teams to ensure alignment on product capabilities and customer requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Assist in onboarding new clients by guiding them through implementation and integration processes.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Broadcast Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical sales.
- Strong understanding of broadcast workflows, cloud-based production, and managed service solutions.
- Experience with broadcast hardware, software solutions, and IP-based workflows.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Experience with cloud and hardware-based solutions, and familiarity with SaaS solutions is a plus.
