Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business units to ensure their compliance with regulatory and internal risk management policies concerning capital, market, and liquidity risks.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of risk management processes and assumptions related to market risk, liquidity risk, and capital adequacy.
• Develop and implement improvements to internal controls and the company’s risk management framework.
• Monitor market conditions and regulatory updates to assess potential risk exposures.
• Prepare risk analysis reports and present findings to senior management and committees.
• Contribute to Risk & Control Self-Assessments and assist with Recovery & Resolution planning.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests from business units, risk management teams, or regulators.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year college degree required).
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services, specializing in risk management.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, banking regulations, and risk management practices, with an emphasis on asset-liability management, liquidity management, and capital management.
• Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ALM platforms (e.g., Empyrean, QRM, Fiserv) and liquidity management tools.
• Familiarity with data management tools (SAS, SQL, R) is a plus.
