Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Intelligence Developer to support the WF360 activity. This key personnel will be responsible for leading the design, development, integration, and testing of all software requirements for the WF360 program, ensuring their quality and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will optimize software designs and architectures to deliver desired performance targets, devise tooling and methodologies to profile execution and capture performance metrics, and develop both front-end and back-end software prototypes, components, and tooling to speed up the prototyping process.
- Lead the design, development, integration, and testing of all software requirements for the WF360 program.
- Ensure the quality and timely delivery of software requirements.
- Optimize software designs and architectures to deliver desired performance targets.
- Devise tooling and methodologies to profile execution and capture performance metrics.
- Develop front-end and back-end software prototypes, components, and tooling to speed up prototyping.
- Work closely with clients and requirements owners to build out product lines.
- Develop plans, road maps, and software design strategies.
- Analyze and decompose activities and requirements into software designs that are allocated across system components/sub-components.
- Capture, develop, and report reference architectures and document compliance standards.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of work experience leading large-scale, cloud-based software development programs.
- Programming experience with languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
- Experience with Qlik, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies and tools.
- Well-versed in modern software architectures like micro-services and front-end frameworks.
- Highly motivated with strong communication skills required to proactively engage fellow CDAO members and DoD cross-organizational partners.
- Ability to synthesize requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and facilitate engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines.
- Ability to assess a client’s abstract concerns into insightful analytical results with visualized output.
- Knowledge of DoD manpower and personnel data, systems, and organizational structure.
- Experience on SECRET and TS/SCI systems is highly desirable, but not required.
Clearance:
- Possess, or be eligible to obtain, a US TOP SECRET security clearance.
- At minimum, have a math, engineering, or computer science undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S. University (or equivalent). A master’s degree would be desirable.
