Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Provides cross-functional leadership to:
- R&D to drive innovation in sensor technology, ensuring product offerings meet customer needs and market trends.
- Quality Assurance, Production, and supply chain teams regarding manufacturing processes and quality control to ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Engineering to enhance their skills and drive performance.
- Plans and executes projects, coordinating across departments to ensure they align with the company's goals; Develops timelines, allocates resources, and manages budgets to keep projects on track.
- Fosters a culture of collaboration and innovation across all technical departments to effectively achieve company objectives.
- Designs and monitors performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and resolving issues in technical processes; Works proactively to prevent disruptions and ensure operational continuity.
- Optimizes expenses while maintaining quality and efficiency in operations.
- Participates in long-term planning to align technical operations with business goals, anticipate future needs, and develop strategies to address them; Works closely with Admin Operations to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of business plans.
- Acts as a liaison between customers, engineering, and production teams to effectively triage significant technical inquiries.
- Regularly updates senior leadership on the status of projects, technical issues, and operational performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a technical product management role within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or environmental sectors, preferably in the sensors or instrumentation industry.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of driving team collaboration and operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication, planning, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with NetSuite, SolidWorks, Monday.com, and Microsoft Teams a plus
