Role: CPG Industry Architect
Location: Texas
Duration: contract/ Fulltime
Client is looking for a CPG Industry Architect who brings a blend of deep industry knowledge, strategic enterprise architecture experience, and hands-on cloud/digital transformation delivery. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader who can drive large-scale technology modernization across the CPG value chain — from supply chain to customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead enterprise architecture initiatives for CPG clients across marketing, sales, logistics, and operations.
- Work directly with business and IT leadership to align enterprise architecture with strategic business outcomes.
- Design and implement architecture strategies involving SAP S/4HANA, IBP, Salesforce, and cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Incorporate AI/ML, IoT, and advanced analytics to enable smart decision-making and automation in areas like demand planning and supply chain.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to lead architecture reviews, solution assessments, and delivery planning.
- Build re-usable architectural blueprints and frameworks tailored for CPG clients.
- Ensure compliance with architecture governance, data privacy, security, and industry standards.
- Mentor and guide engineering and solution teams to build scalable, high-performance systems.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of total IT experience, with 5 years in enterprise/solution architecture roles.
- Domain expertise in the CPG industry — understanding of retail, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer experience processes.
- Hands-on architecture experience with SAP (S/4HANA, IBP), Salesforce, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Exposure to data lakes, analytics platforms, and API/Microservices architecture.
- Excellent stakeholder management, with a proven ability to influence C-level executives.
- Strong documentation and communication skills; able to create architecture artifacts and present to both technical and business audiences.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
