Overview

Our Coverage Review Representatives will receive inbound phone calls from members, providers, or additional departments that are requesting information on medications, the eligibility/coverage of these medications, and recommend medications covered if needed. Agents will assist with Prior Authorizations for medications and provide Prior Authorizations determination and status. 

Responsibilities

• Inbound calls from members, providers and pharmacies to verify eligibility and coverage for prescribed medications. 
• If medication is not covered, determine alternative medication options based on coverage and assist with prior authorizations for  medications.  
• Provide callers with status updates of medication Prior Authorizations .  
• Educate members, providers, and pharmacies regarding medical plans, coverages, benefits and eligibility 
• Review inquires received for medications and contact provided for any additional information required. 
• Must be able to interpret providers documentation, and ensure all data is input in to database accurately and efficiently
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and problem-solving skills  
• Ability to effectively multitask and possess excellent attention to detail  
• Self- motivated with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team with minimal direct supervision

• • • Call Center Experience Required  
    • Must have Healthcare/Exposure in a fast-paced healthcare environment
    • Claims Review/Medical Billing would be considered as they have experience with medications and pronunciation of medications.
    • Computer literate (Microsoft Windows, keyboarding skills, strong systems aptitude)
    • Excellent Soft Skills Required
    • Data Entry Experience Required
    • Maintain balanced performance in areas of production, quality and CSAT 

    • Experienced in being held accountable for multiple KPIs 

    • Member satisfaction, resolution focused mindset 

    • 100% attendance is required during training: No time off within the first 60 days of employment.  
    • Responsible for providing your own 19" monitor or larger with VGA or HDMI port with corresponding cable, USB wired mouse, ethernet cable, and optional USB wired keyboard
    • Reliable hardwired internet is a must with at least 25mbps download| 10mbps upload speeds
