Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Bethesda-based professional services firm who will report to a BroadPoint Federal Program Manager. He or she will be an integral part of a team that is responsible for continuing the operations, development, implementation, integration, maintenance, including software updates, configuration management, program management, transition, and support efforts.
The individual selected to fill this position must be a responsible, results-oriented individual with a passion for detail and achievement. He or she must be an innovative thinker who consistently reaches for new and unusual solutions to business challenges.
The Oracle EBS Developer is responsible for the design & development of RICE-W in the Oracle Federal Financial modules. Support all technical activities and follow the processes outlined to follow CMMI Level3.
Responsibilities
- Implement Oracle Financials Applications including User Requirement Study, Analysis, Solution Design, Development, Implementation, Set Up, Testing, Customization, Upgrades, Maintenance and production Support.
- Meet with the customer and manage the analysis through design and development phases related to Oracle modules.
Design & development of RICE-W in the Oracle Federal Financial modules.
Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents.Support and execute all technical activities in compliance with CMMI Level 3.Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule.Ability to research and address client inquiries and emerging issuesQualifications : Qualifications
5 years’ experience in Oracle Financials R12 / R11 and Oracle databases.Strong in PL / SQL, Reports, Forms, BI Publisher, Alerts and Workflow development (customizations and extensions).Ability to provide technical support for Oracle Federal Financial modules that include INV, OM, AP, AR, GL, PO and FedAdmin.Monitor and support Production data interfaces between the core Oracle Federal Financials application and external federal systems pertaining to travel, contracts and procurement.Experience with EDI Interfaces, using X12 standardsStrong technical knowledge of OA Framework developmentExperience with shell / Perl scriptingKnowledge of Control MPerform technical analysis of patches and open SRs with the product owner as requiredPerform impact analysis of the product updates released periodically by the vendorStrong knowledge of developing interfaces and conversion routinesProvide operational support in Oracle E-Business Suite Federal Financial Modules on a daily basisTroubleshoot and resolve the technical issues reported by usersExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearanceHighly Desirable :
Familiarity with Oracle methodologies such as OUM or AIMEducation : 4 Years college degree in Accounting / Computer Science or related field. Master’s degree preferred4 to 6 years of relevant experience with ERP system development role in Oracle EBS / Oracle CloudA proven track record in system implementation for Supply Chain Modules (MSCA / WMS) and related modules / applications4-6 full lifecycle implementations in any of the aboveAdditional Information
