About the Role
This position partners with the Legal department and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with changing regulations, company needs, and industry best practices. Key responsibilities include:
- Administering the global HR policy framework, including annual reviews, revisions, and creation of new policies as needed.
- Communicating policy changes through written and verbal channels to various audiences, including associates, managers, and senior leadership.
- Overseeing HR compliance audits, actively participating when necessary, and identifying potential compliance risks.
- Cultivating partnerships with stakeholders to ensure cohesive compliance efforts and proactively address issues.
- Monitoring evolving legal requirements, industry best practices, and emerging trends impacting HR.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree, preferably with professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in HR roles focusing on compliance and operations.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing compliance-related projects.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
