Position Summary :
We are seeking a talented DAS Technician with extensive experience on iDAS projects. The ideal candidate has worked on multiple passive iDAS projects, having a clear understanding of ISP fiber pulling, splicing, connectorizing, terminating
Job Responsibilities :
Installing DAS wireless equipment; radios, network racks and related equipment, fiber optic cable, coaxial cable, CAT5e / CAT6 cable, RF antennas and passive equipment, as well as additional related hardware.
Completion of fusion Splicing, Fiber OTDR and OPM Testing. (Certifications a plus).
Pulling Fiber and fiber optic-based technology Passive Optical LAN (POL)
Assisting in warehouse maintenance and inventory.
Job Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of DAS installation experience.
3 years of fiber fusion splicing, fiber terminations, fiber dressing, fiber cleaning and fiber testing.
Must be able to perform OTDR testing
Experience with fiber optic-based technology called the Passive Optical LAN (POL) and Passive Optical Network (PON)
Ability to use basic hand and power tools needed for installation projects.
Solid skills with Microsoft Office Software.
