We are looking for a Survey Party Chief with 1 years of experience operating robotic total stations, data collectors and GPS equipment.
Pay Rate : 22-5
100% travel between KY, IL, OH, WV, VA, TN, MS & AL.
Job Description :
Field note reduction and in-depth plan interpretation.
Knowledge of the principles of the profession and various technical standards.
Working knowledge of how to operate, check and perform basic field adjustments on rods, levels, tribrachs, robotic total stations, data collectors, tripods and GPD equipment.
Download field data into computers.
Ability to work as a one-man crew.
Regular travel required.
Able to work overtime.
Maintain all survey supplies.
Search for sections corners, property corners and survey points.
Public records research.
AutoCAD or Carlson Survey experience a plus.
Engineering and / or Surveying degree a plus.
Requirements :
Survey Crew Chief : A minimum experience of 1 year in land surveying including knowledge of topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking. Existing knowledge of GPS equipment and Robotic Total Stations a plus. Work will be mainly performed in the wireless telecommunications industry. This is a position that requires overnight travel on a consistent basis.
