Broadway Court Estates is hiring a part-time Evening Receptionist to join our team. Candidate must have a sunny personality with a friendly and professional nature. The Evening Receptionist's primary job duties are to assist tenants with various requests, greet visitors, answer multi-line phone, provide secretarial support for various departments, and oversee closing of the building. This position involves interaction with our diverse and active senior population and requires a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor that exemplifies Broadway Court Estate’s commitment to service and quality.
Schedule: Sunday thru Wednesday; 5pm - 9pm
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, vendors, applicants, and the general public in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Monitor and maintain documentation of visitors and tenants entering and leaving the building.
- Answer a multi-line telephone and direct calls to the appropriate person or department.
- Maintain tenant activity sign-up sheets.
- Respond to any contact from tenants to ensure his/her safety (phone call, pendant/call box, or in person).
- Record reservations for guest rooms in the reservation logbook.
- Enter maintenance work orders in journal.
- Provide secretarial support for all departments as requested.
- Provide the security function for emergencies.
- Oversee closing of the building, swapping phones, and pass-off to Night Security.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and tenants.
- Keep lobby, foyer, and reception area safe and clean.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Candidate must have at least two years of general office experience, working knowledge of Microsoft Office and multi-line phone system. Good attendance record is a requirement.
- High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to:
- Take direction and effectively conduct assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
- Respond appropriately and quickly to a variety of situations and/or emergencies.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and tenants.
- Represent the facility to the public in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
