What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Broadway Dental?
We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make the office more efficient and pleasant for patients. We have 2 dentists and 3 hygienists. Our office hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 am to 5 pm, Wednesday from 11:45 am to 8pm, and 2 Saturdays a month. The ideal candidate would be bi-lingual (spanish) as well as have at least 1 year dental assisting experience.
Responsiblities:
- Direct office operations for Hygienists and Doctors, meet and greet patients, prepare the operatory for patient arrival
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Keep the dental operatory clean and well-stocked
- Assist the dentist
