Job Summary
We are looking for a technician to service our customers in the greater Des Moines, IA area. This is a remote position as our company is based in Minneapolis. However, you will be closely connected to our in-house service team for help with troubleshooting, submitting weekly reports, and for any new product training. Our service representatives are the ‘face’ of the company post-installation, therefore we are looking for someone who is well-spoken and a great representative of our family-owned and operated business.
Pay: $25.00-28.00 per Hour based on experience

Responsibilities
- Installing equipment and testing new equipment
- Conduct routine monthly preventative maintenance
- Conducting emergency repairs
- Meeting with the customer to determine nature of service and repairs
- Maintaining equipment stock in company vehicle
- Completed job reports submitted weekly
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Having past field experience is a plus but not a requirement.
- Possess a basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity that will be built upon with training.
- Ability to work with car wash parts weighing up to 50 pounds and some as high up as 8’.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights and operate heavy machinery (including but not limited to blowers)
- Comfortable and confident in working with these conditions
- A valid driver’s license and no major moving violations
Location: This service technician will be responsible for all of our customers in the greater Des Moines, IA area, commuting by company vehicle. This position requires overnight travel up to 25% of the time.
