Job Description:
As a Tow Truck Driver/Porter at Broadway Ford Truck, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently towing vehicles to our facility or customer addresses. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and organized truck, and follow all safety protocols and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a tow truck to safely transport vehicles to and from various locations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and your mobile team dispatcher.
- Ensure proper documentation is completed for each job, including work orders and logging in our app.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the truck and equipment.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Moving vehicles on the lot.
- Quality Assurance drives to make sure our work was done properly on vehicles in for service.
- Help of maintaining service equipment.
Qualifications:
- Valid IL or MO driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Tow truck driving experience required. CDL with air brakes, required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects when necessary.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
