Mobile Fleet Technician

We are looking for a Ford Certified Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team!  We are part of the 777 Machinist Union with top tier insurance & pension.  The right candidate will have a strong service technician background & Ford certified. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders for our commercial fleet customers and maintaining your mobile unit.  We have a brand new fully equipped Ford Transit that is loaded with tools, built in tanks, air system & Starlink internet.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership

• Perform PM's & Light Recalls

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2 years of Mobile Service Technician experience preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ford Certification is a plus

• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus

• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination

• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies

• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve

• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment

• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively

• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
