What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Care Specialist position at Broadway Home Medical?
Locally owned DME company has an immediate need for a Hospice Care Specialist. Job duties will include but not be limited to
- Receiving orders via email, fax and over the phone.
- Create delivery, pickup and service orders to be fulfilled by field technicians.
- Coordinate with other DME companies, facilities and patients to arrange times for equipment to be delivered, picked up or serviced.
- Communicating with patients and referrals.
- Dispatching and routing of urgent orders.
- Assisting with retail sales.
Ideal candidates must be dependable and reliable. Have good general office skills and customer service skills. Possess excellent critical thinking and communication skills. General healthcare knowledge is a plus but willing to train the right individual.
Hours will be a set schedule from 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday and a rotating Saturday from 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
