As a Bistro Food Service Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service within our dining environment. This position includes a variety of responsibilities, such as kitchen support, food preparation, and serving customers, all while ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere. You will collaborate closely with other Bistro staff and front desk personnel to provide high-quality food and beverage experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring quality and consistency in presentation.
- Cooking: Cook food to the proper temperature and maintain appropriate food safety and sanitation standards.
- Serving: Take orders from customers and serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. Provide helpful guidance on menu offerings and respond knowledgeably to any questions.
- Bartending: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and service area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and following sanitation protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Bistro staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stocking inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies, and report any shortages to management.
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, address their inquiries, and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
- Adherence to Policies: Follow all food safety guidelines, health regulations, and company policies at all times.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
- Basic bartending skills (if applicable) and knowledge of drink recipes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen and dining environment.

Wage: DOE $16.00 PLUS tips
Hours: evenings 3-11pm
Availability to work some weekends and some holidays
