Job Description:
The Enterprise Architect will play a pivotal role in the strategic planning, innovation, and execution of enterprise-wide technology frameworks and systems. This individual will ensure that the IT strategy is aligned with the organization's mission, business objectives, and technological advancements.
The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with various stakeholders to design and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and enable the achievement of long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture models and strategies as per PWS 5.3.12, ensuring they are in line with the organization's objectives and federal guidelines.
- Analyze and evaluate system architectures, ensuring compliance with PWS 5.3.13, to provide strategic recommendations for improvements and optimization.
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise solutions in accordance with PWS 5.3.23, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies and systems, as outlined in PWS 5.3.27, to enhance the organization's IT capabilities and service offerings.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that the enterprise architecture supports these requirements per PWS 5.2.1.
- Provide expert guidance and leadership in developing standards, architectural governance, design patterns, and IT practices as per PWS 5.2.2.
- Research emerging technologies and trends in accordance with PWS 5.2.3.4, and assess their potential impact on the enterprise architecture.
Position Responsibilities:
Strategizes and oversees IT infrastructure development, ensuring project completion within budget and timelines. Serves as a project or technical area lead, focusing on network design, engineering, implementation, or user support. Manages IT integration to align with organizational objectives, following government directives.
Position Qualifications:
- MA/MS degree in a relevant field.
- Over 10 years of experience.
- Extensive knowledge in network design, engineering, implementation, or operations/user support.
- Experience in leading IT infrastructure projects.
Security Clearance: Secret
Certifications:
- Must possess all required licenses for operating NIPR and SIPRNet.
- IAM II or III certification based on job duties and access levels at ANGRC JB Andrews.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $160,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
