Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to assist our nursing team at Broadway Living Center. This pivotal role involves overseeing aspects of nursing care, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of excellence in resident care. The ADON will work closely with the Director of Nursing in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all nursing operations within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding resident care.
- Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to provide high-quality care.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews of resident care plans.
- Manage staffing schedules and shift assignments effectively.
- Monitor documentation for accuracy and completeness in accordance with MDS guidelines.
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their needs are met with compassion and respect.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance overall resident health outcomes.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Proven experience in long-term care or similar healthcare settings.
- Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and documentation requirements.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
