What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Consultant position at Broadway Managment Company?
We are currently seeking a full time Leasing Consultant for our South San Francisco location. This position is the first impression of our community. This person must be able to establish positive relationships with people they communicate with and convert them from potential customers to actual customers.
Job Duties:
· Managing incoming phone calls, emails, and walk-in traffic regarding inquiries on leasing apartments.
· Following up with potential residents and providing the correct information on leasing apartments.
· Touring the prospect and /or providing information on self-guided tours.
· Creating, preparing and posting advertisements daily and assisting with all other marketing activities.
· Preparing units for self-guided tours (decorating, putting out snacks and posting informational signage)
· Collecting and entering necessary information into the property management software.
· Administrative duties include but are not limited to: processing leasing applications, collecting, and verifying information necessary to approve an application, lease agreement preparation, scheduling for the move in, collecting deposits and monies for the move in. Filing, walking units and other tasks as assigned by Community Manager.
Skills:

Must have Sales or Customer service skills
Must have computer skills
Yardi experience a plus
Understanding of fair housing laws
Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
Must be vaccinated
Schedule: Sunday thru Thursday 9-6: schedules subject to change based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience in property management
- Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws
- Proficiency in using Yardi software for property leasing and management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with tenants and vendors
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
