Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for IT support requests, handling basic technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Diagnose and resolve common technical problems, escalating complex issues to higher support levels when necessary.
- Set up, configure, and maintain computer systems, including installing operating systems and necessary software applications.
- Provide guidance and training to end-users on standard IT procedures and best practices.
- Document support activities and solutions in the IT service management system.
- Collaborate with team members to improve support processes and enhance user satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networking (e.g., Windows, Linux & network - fundamentals), and common software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in a technical support or help desk role is advantageous but not required.
- CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF )
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Operating System Fundamentals
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
