Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our service team. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between customers and service technicians, ensuring that all customer needs are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and excellent communication skills to facilitate smooth operations in our service department.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their powersports service needs, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Document customer concerns and relay information accurately to service technicians for diagnosis and repair.
- Schedule appointments and manage the workflow of the service department to ensure timely completion of services.
- Provide estimates for services for powerpsorts repairs and maintenance.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records of all transactions in accordance with company policies.
- Follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status and ensure they are informed throughout the repair process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols within the service area.
Requirements
- Proven experience in powersports repair or service writing is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical information related to vehicle repairs.
- Experience with cash handling and customer service is essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and technicians, ensuring clarity in conveying information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
