Summer Help - Palletizer, 1st Shift (5399)

This is a temporary seasonal position. 

Job Summary Palletizer:

Manually palletize product within the Distribution Center at the conveyor unload station. Place finished items from Production onto pallets for storage in prescribed configuration

Job Responsibilities:

· Sort individual cartons of product onto pallets for storage

· Verify item number on each carton to accurately sort and stack

· Stack cartons according to predetermined stack patterns and quantities

· Use computer to check stacking patterns as needed

· Team lift as required to handle large or heavy cartons

· Push finished pallets to back of conveyor

· Maintain clean and orderly work area

· Maintain accuracy in all duties

· Work effectively with other team members

· Participate in LEAN principles, “5S” and continuous improvement activities.

· Perform all jobs within company safety guidelines

· Maintain acceptable attendance record

· May perform other duties as an Assembler depending on work load
