Job Summary :
Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the Assembler I is responsible for performing a variety of operations to assemble, test, inspect and pack a diversified number exhaust ventilation, kitchen ventilation or service parts.
Job Responsibilities :
- Fit, align, fasten, and package sheet metal parts, motors, electronics, molded parts into sub-assemblies and complete units. Visually inspect for fit and function. Non-conformities may require disassembly and rework.
- Test units for electrical continuity and functionality.
- Package units into corrugated containers with shipping filler and identify with all applicable labels.
- Work from assembly drawings, process sheets and / or standard work to perform assembly operations in a consistent, safe, and efficient manner.
- Use required hand and air powered tools, measuring instruments and gauges.
- Participate in daily workplace organization and continuous improvement initiatives.
