Job Title : Automation Engineer Intern
Job Summary :
The Automation Engineering Intern will work closely with members of the controls and automation team. This role will be focused on supporting the team initiatives around making improvements to new or existing automated equipment.
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform engineering-related work requiring the application of educational study and standard techniques and procedures in industrial automation.
- Supervised assignments & projects have clear & specified objectives.
- Coordinate with the representatives of Operations teams and Segment to plan and complete projects as assigned.
- Provide support for automation development which may include wiring and construction of equipment, applications of safety controls and design, electrical design, robotics, vision systems, programming of logic controllers.
- Maintain and communicate an accurate accounting of project status.
