ASSEMBLER

Position Description : JOB TITLE : Assembler

REPORTS TO : Production Supervisor

FLSA STATUS : Non-Exempt, Hourly

POSITION VALUE STATEMENT : Performs one or more assembly or subassembly operations to mass produce products such as pressure fryers, ventless fryers, pressure smokers, broilers, filters, accessory items, and related foodservice equipment into a finished product.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

oAssemble sub-assemblies and final assemblies to print.

oKeep work areas clean.

oPerform quality checks.

oBuild with technical documents using hand and power tools.

oStay on track with the production schedule.

oCommunicate shortages or any opportunities to your supervisor.

oWork in a batch or 1 piece flow line process.

oAble to follow FIFO system.

Relationship Management

Coach, Mentor, and develop team(s) in accordance with company culture

QUALIFICATIONS :

Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Must have good basic math skills.

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools and assembly functions.

Able to understand blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.

Able to read wiring schematics.

General Education Diploma
