The CAD Drafter will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the design process.
Duties
- Develop and produce detailed CAD drawings and schematics for various projects.
- Utilize software such as SolidWorks, Revit, NavisWorks, and Civil 3D to create accurate designs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Create 2D animations to visualize design concepts effectively.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Revise designs based on feedback from team members or clients.
- Maintain organized records of all design documents and revisions.
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software including SolidWorks, Revit, NavisWorks, Sketchup, and Civil 3D.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
- Ability to draft detailed schematics with precision.
- Experience in creating 2D animations for design presentations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
