Position Summary :
This position acts as Brock Built Homes' area field manager in charge of all the production phases in an assigned area. The Area Manager oversees all activities of the community Project Managers. In addition, this role is responsible for the completion of all homes to meet the cycle time and quality standards of Brock Built Homes. Successful incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring that every community is operating in compliance with local ASHA guidelines as well as compliance with local environmental and stormwater management principles.
Responsibilities
- Oversee field operations, cycle times, and ensure quality control so that homes built meet the Brock Built quality standards.
- Starts and closes the number of homes as forecasted by the Board Report.
- Ensures that each home achieves a passing third party quality inspection score as determined by the Director of Construction.
- Cost control management that is under the control of the Project Manager as determined by the Director of Construction.
- Ensure that all homes meet or exceed construction cycle times as determined by the Director of Construction.
- Responsible for adherence to all safety standards in accordance with OSHA and state / local guidelines.
- Ensures that communities are compliant with local environmental and stormwater guidelines.
- Manage the condition of all communities and homes under construction to ensure they are kept clean and organized. This includes overall community appearance, exterior and interior of every home.
- Demonstrates good working knowledge of all trades and Brock Built Homes scopes of work.
- Works closely with the Project Manager to address pricing, supply, material, and field support office issues.
- Makes appropriate field production decisions and accepts responsibility for them.
- Walks every home under construction each week and inspects work in progress.
- Oversee trade contractors and ensure that only approved vendors are used for work.
- Ensured that Project Managers keep an accurate and updated construction schedule via the scheduling software system (BuildPro).
- Notifies Director of Construction of any delays or acceleration in construction stages to ensure that stage progression is met.
- Conducts accurate and timely construction draw inspections and submits to accounting.
- Assists management and Accounting during post-construction variance analysis to identify and correct quality, cost, or cycle time issues.
- Monitor all warranty-related expenses and hold subcontractors accountable for their work.
- Timely completion of Exception List items as determined by the Director of Construction.
- Inspect and report serious warranty items to the Customer Service Manager and Director of Construction.
- Communicates repetitive warranty issues to the Customer Service Manager and Director of Construction.

Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
