Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist / Legal Assistant to join our team, responsible for operating data entry devices and working within various lender systems. This role includes verifying data, processing files, preparing documents, completing milestones, and uploading information into our case management system and lender platforms. If you are efficient, accurate, and comfortable working with legal and lender documentation, we'd love to have you on board.
Key Responsibilities :
- Read and enter data from source documents into specific data fields using keyboards or scanners.
- Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of data prior to entry.
- Compare data against source documents or re-enter data to detect and correct errors.
- Store completed documents in designated online locations and ensure proper documentation.
- Identify and resolve data entry errors, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain logs of daily activities and completed tasks.
- Select necessary materials to complete data entry and other assignments.
- Assist with document preparation, backups, and milestones for legal cases and lender transactions.
Position Requirements
Education & Experience :
Required : High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience : 1-2 years of data entry experience required.
