We are seeking a full-time Desktop Support Technician I in our Winston Salem, NC office to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment. The Desktop Support Technician I role is responsible for the deployment and ongoing management of laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and the software for use on those devices. This role will support internal and external employees. The Desktop Support Technician I must be technically competent, as well as show a capacity to provide exceptional customer service to all employees within the organization. This person should have the skillset to complete all aspects of a desktop support role and have working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
Responsibilities
- Support People, PC’s, Printers, Desktop Scanners, Copiers, Mobile devices, and client system access.
- Monitor IT Service Desk ticket queue and resolve tickets in a timely manner.
- Provision/Document/Decommission users and entitlements in internal and external software systems and resources.
- Participate in Infrastructure calls and provide solutions to recurring hardware/software related issues.
- Use various tools to perform related support functions.
- Provide expertise in support of end user network, hardware, and software issues.
- Assist in the testing and installation of; application software, upgrades, and patches as required on supported systems.
- Writing technical documentation, installation, and user instructions.
- Instruct/train users as required on access and use of company and client systems.
- Assist in the management of Hardware and Software assets.
- Help ensure that facility is always “audit ready".
