What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Associate Attorney position at Brock & Scott, PLLC?
The Associate Attorney is responsible for handling foreclosure matters for the firm. They will utilize legal knowledge and experience to facilitate the foreclosure process on behalf of our clients.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Preparation, review, and approval of foreclosure related pleadings.
Handle all aspects of foreclosure matters including contested foreclosures.
Participation in mediations, depositions, telephonic hearings, in-person hearings.
Regular client meetings / updates.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements :
Juris Doctorate.
Member in good standing of the South Carolina Bar and completion of Rule 403 Certification, Member in good standing of the North Carolina State Bar or another jurisdiction in the firm’s footprint of states.
Ability to manage and prioritize large caseload.
Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Effectively communicates with all clients (via client systems, e-mail, and phone).
Provides exceptional client service.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance.
Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking.
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
