Rubber Inc. is currently looking for a Texas-based Account Manager to increase business potential with new and existing clients, develop new accounts and maintain effective relationships with customers and prospects. The Account Manager will be responsible for the sales growth within the Southcentral Texas area.
The ideal candidate will have previous outside sales experience in the automotive industry; possess strong, new business development skills; display a high level of confidence and autonomy; and demonstrate commitment to providing clients with quality products and exceptional service.

What You’ll do
- Manage and grow an existing customer base in the Southcentral Texas area.
- Build a successful sales route by making in-person sales calls.
- Use suggestive selling to help guide customers to solutions that best fit their needs.
- Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers.
- Help customers manage their inventory and build programs to fit their needs.
- Promote new products to new and existing customers.
- Generate sales and submit orders in our system.
- Manage and track leads and customer interactions using our CRM system
- Partner with and build relationships with our vendors to help educate our customers.
- Work closely with the Regional Manager to solve problems and capitalize on opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service and overcome objections.
- 3-5 years sales experience in related industry.
- Experience cold calling
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Proven ability to prospect and penetrate new business.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and foster professional relationships.
- Display professional appearance and demeanor.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
- Ability to drive 2800 to 3800 miles per month.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Knowledge of basic math computation.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Strong work ethic.
