The Service Manager will oversee technicians, support service growth, and work collaboratively with the sales and service departments to expand and optimize our service network.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Service & Support
- Provide on-site and remote technical service to existing customers.
- Offer technical expertise to customers and regional territory managers.
- Assist in monitoring region budgets, tracking expenses, and managing revenue growth.
- Team Leadership & Training
- Oversee daily operations of technicians, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and discipline.
- Conduct on-site training, ride-alongs, and consultations to ensure technicians meet the highest standards.
- Mentor technicians and support their professional development.
- Service Operations & Growth
- Lead major installation projects and oversee preventative maintenance services.
- Work with the territory manager to expand the service network and increase sales.
- Support vetting and training of contractors to ensure compliance with Aquafinity standards.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Participate in weekly calls with Aquafinity Service Managers to discuss operations and upcoming projects.
- Assist sales representatives with technical knowledge for bids, projects, and sales opportunities.
- Provide inside technical phone support to employees and customers as needed.
- Proven experience in service management, technical training, and customer support.
- Strong background in installation, service/repair, and preventative maintenance.
- Leadership experience with the ability to train, mentor, and assess technicians.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both internal teams and customers.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
