Enhance the store’s visual presentation through end cap management and by coordinating
merchandising and re-merchandising efforts
Develop and implement in-store marketing, promotions, and seasonal merchandising plans
Manage operating expenses within budget parameters

Champion "Customer Service as The #1 Priority" and ensure that a culture of customer service excellence thrives
Lead by example on the sales floor by directly participating in the customer service experience, utilizing this for teachable moments with staff, as well as gaining insights on how to focus store resources, inventory and procedures toward better helping the customer

While the origins of this family enterprise trace back three generations to 1946, it was in 1984 that Denny and Wayne Swanson opened a branch of their then Illinois based hardware business in the quiet ski town of Steamboat Springs. In the 40 years since then, Steamboat Ace Hardware has grown with the community, evolving into a world class hardware shopping experience with over 75 employees in a 25,000 square foot building. At its core, Steamboat Ace is a small-town business customers catch up in the nuts and bolts aisle, dogs are always welcome, and every weekend community groups have barbeque fundraisers out front of the store. - Vacation 4 weeks for 0-5 years of service (prorated for first year), 5 weeks for 5-10 years’ service, and 6 weeks for 10 years

What you`ll need
- Minimum Experience
- 5 years management experience in the hardware store/home center industry
- Experience running a team with at least five direct reports and 25 total team members
- Preferred Experience
- 5-10 years experience as manager or GM of a high volume Ace Hardware store, or experience managing a multi store operation.
- Management experience with at least 8 direct reports and 60 team members
- Knowledge of Epicor, Mango and Margin Master
