Moran,Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources SUBJECT: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT VACANCY According to the terms of the contract, the following position is being advertised: Main Office- Reengagement & Restorative Justice Center12 MONTHS - SCHEDULE 5QUALIFICATIONS: 1.Thorough knowledge of standard office procedures and practices. 2.Appropriate office skills, including use of all Microsoft Office modules.
3.Ability to communicate with others in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner.4.Ability to interact with the public and to work with personnel from the school department, City of Brockton, and the private sector.5.Ability to plan, organize, and follow through on complex duties; ability to prioritize tasks and develop work plans to complete tasks in a timely manner.6.Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to student and staff files and other school-related information.7.Must have good organizational, oral and written communications skills.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Assist in the usual office routines and practices, including answering/directing telephone calls.2.Interact with the public.3.Perform other related duties as assigned by the Coordinator or their designee.Further duties, responsibilities and expectations of this position will be discussed with each applicant at the time of interview.PLEASE NOTE: Brockton residency must be established within one year of initial employment.
