SUBJECT: Computer Technician– Technology Services Department
According to the terms of the contract, the following computer technician position is being advertised.
Minimum Qualifications:
•At least 3 years’ experience in the IT field
•Experience in a Microsoft AD environment
Preferred Qualifications:
•Technical certifications such as A N
•Microsoft certifications such as MCP, MCTS, MTA
•Experience with Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 8, and Windows 7
•Experience with a work order entry system and inventory system
•Experience with Microsoft SCCM, Ghost, or other imaging/deployment software
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Support and maintain the district’s computer systems, such as desktops, laptops, and tablets as well as their peripherals.
•Support and maintain all AV inventory, such as Interactive boards, document cameras, and sound systems.
•Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal performance.
•Troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion.
•Assist in preparing, maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring PC performance.
•Accurately document instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal.
•Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new hardware installations.
•Report to the Senior Technician of Technology Services.
Compensation: According to the Contract

PLEASE NOTE: Brockton residency must be established within one year of initial employment.
