ESY Summer 2025- Staff- Extended

TO: All Teaching and Administrative Personnel Search Extended Brockton Public Schools FROM: Dr. Kathleen Moran, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources RE: 2025 Special Education: Extended School Year Positions The following summer positions are being advertised for Special Education Extended School Year Summer Programs, pending approval of the FY’25 school department budget. DATES OF ESY PROGRAM: JULY 7-AUGUST 7, 2025 LOCATION: Downey School , Plouffe Academy, Brockton High School Planning meeting with all staff Time: TBD Special Education Teachers Number of teachers will be determined by enrollment. Preference will be given to staff with experience in working with students with Special Education experience and certification. Please be specific about the position for you are applying for due to varied responsibilities such as: lifting, toileting, feeding. Paraprofessionals/Support Staff Paraprofessionals will be hired based on enrollment numbers. Preference will be given to those paraprofessionals currently working in special education. (Please note your current position specifically in your response Ex.1:1 with ML West) Please write preferred level. NOTE: Van coverage may be required. Related Service Providers: Therapeutic Support (4) Speech and Language Pathologist (4) TVI OM Occupational Therapist (3) TOD Physical Therapist APE Behaviorist/ BCBA (4) Assistive Technology Teachers up to (25) days up to 5 hrs/day at contract rate Teacher preparation and planning hours must be approved by Supervisor.
