SUBJECT: Procurement Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
•MCPPO Certified or eligible to become certified.
Minimum of three (5) years successful experience in a business environment, private or public sector, with an accounting or financial focus.
Experience in the areas of procurement and accounting preferred.
Demonstrated competency in utilizing software applications.
Ability to effectively communicate and work with people in the resolution of issues and problems.
Responsibilities
Prepares bids, RFQ’s and RFP’s, scheduling, advertising posting, evaluating, and summarizing results for bid review in
accordance with state and local procurement laws and regulations, including but not limited to MA General Laws Chapter 30B, 7C, sections 44-58, 149, 30, 39M.
Assists in the preparation, development and distribution of all budget materials including but not limited to the budget manual,
organization summary sheets, detail sheets, bid supply documents, and other documents as may be required.
Assists in the data collection and summarization of requests for funds for budget purposes.
Reviews and approves all requisitions and purchase orders for centralized purchases for the school system.
Reviews and monitors all activity on the MUNIS financial system, especially the status of all expense accounts and assists site-based managers in the management and expense of these funds.
On a weekly basis, downloads, formats and reviews appropriate tables from financial system and prepares the necessary
summary
On a biweekly basis, downloads, formats, and reviews the warrant document (check run).
On a monthly basis, downloads, prepares and formats financial information to distribute to site base managers.
And other duties as may be assigned or required by the Chief Financial Officer.
Salary : $75,000 - $105,000
