Responsibilities and Duties
- Identify and target potential corporate sponsors aligned with the team's brand and values.
- Develop a robust pipeline of leads through research, networking and industry events.
- Create compelling and customized sponsorship proposals that showcase the value and benefits of partnering with our team.
- Conduct engaging presentations to key decision-makers, effectively communicating the unique opportunities for brand exposure and activation.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements to achieve mutually benefical terms for both the team and sponsors.
- Close deals in a timely manner while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Foster strong relationships with sponsors to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal departments to fulfill sponsorship commitments and deliver a seamless partnership experience.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-3 years of ticket sales or sponsorship sales experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint) and CRM.
- Strong understanding of the sports sponsorship landscape and marketing trends.
- Execeptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding sales targets.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
