Who We Are:
The Brockton Rox are a professional baseball team in the MLB-partnered Frontier League. The Rox are the newest franchise of the Frontier League, but come with a rich history in the City of Champions. The Rox play at Campanelli Stadium, located in Brockton, Massachusetts. Fans and other members of the media can stay up-to-date with all Rox content through their social media channels @BrocktonRox.
Responsibilities:
- Work with & report to the Social Media Coordinator/Marketing to enhance the overall vision and execution of the Rox brand
- Shoot and edit game footage into highlight reels and hype videos
- Shoot and edit news-and-entertainment style video packages of player interviews, in-game promotions, and other team-related events
- Archive, log and organize game footage for future use
- Assist with creating content and measuring analytics for the Rox’s social media platforms
- Capture Proof of Performance materials for end-of-season corporate client reviews
- Design graphics for in-stadium signage, social media, flyers, trade advertisements, sales projects, and website pages
- Develop, prepare for and participate in various theme nights
- Assist in other duties as assigned by Rox management.
Long-Form Documentary-
- Film a diverse portfolio of shots during the entirety of the season. This includes both in-game footage and behind-the-scenes.Conduct interviews with players, coaches, and various amounts of staff to compliment the storyline.
- Use audio equipment to add voiceover narration to the majority of the film.
- Other cinematic duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Access to a DSLR video camera with the ability to shoot in either 24 or 60 FPS.
- Access to other video and audio equipment (tripods, shotgun microphone, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in videography
- Advanced Knowledge of either Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong communication skills
- Energetic and a team player
