Broderick Animal Clinic is in need of a temporary employee to aid our existing team. The position would be immediate to potentially end of the summer. We are a continually growing veterinary clinic in a continually growing community so the position has potential to become a full-time position.
The role of the Client Care Specialist is to provide excellent customer service and a high quality of care for our clients and their pets. Being the first point of contact it is important to be an outgoing individual with a friendly demeanor on the phone and in person. Our clinic prides ourselves on providing excellent patient care in a professional yet friendly atmosphere.
Qualifications:
· Be able to successfully interact with all team members working cohesively maintaining a positive attitude and demonstrating a great work ethic.
· Possess strong communication skills.
· Be willing to learn. Have an ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize.

Experience:
- Previous experience in a veterinary field is desired.
- 1 – years of customer service desired.
- Point of sales experience desired.
Responsibilities:
· The Client Care Specialist team is to greet all clients entering the clinic, making sure they are checked in in a timely manner and go over the services being provided to them.
· They must be able to determine the needs of the clients and their pets to appropriately schedule appointments.
· Ensure an efficient flow of the doctor’s schedule, working in a timely, courteous, concise manner, with great attention to detail.
· They must be able to answer the phones in a professional manner, assisting our clients with scheduling, prescription refills, and direct calls to the appropriate person.
· Maintain all patient charts with accuracy and attention to detail.
· Maintain a professional demeanor when working with clients that are upset or angry and be able to handle the situation appropriately, as well as alert the management team when necessary.
· Appropriately fax records and receive records maintaining patient charts.
· Check, receive, and correspond to emails appropriately.
· Utilize the Shepherd veterinary software program maintaining accurate records.
· Assist with prescriptions through our online store and other online pharmacies.
Physical Demands:
· Transporting large dogs and carrying heavy cats in carriers safely and compassionately to their designated areas for treatment or services.
· Receiving large deliveries, stocking foods, working with backstock of products, and putting items away.
· Assisting clients with their purchases or pets to/from their vehicle when needed.
· The practice is continually busy, so being able to maintain a steady work pace is imperative.
· General cleaning throughout the clinic.

Clinic hours:
Mondays through Friday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Saturdays 8:00 am -1:00 pm
Scheduled hours:
· Client Care Specialists work 35-38 hours per week.
· Everyone has one day off during the week.
· We do require working a rotation of Saturdays.
Estimated salary: $15.00 per hour based on qualifications.
