About us
Luxury Condominium consisting of mid-rise, and townhomes located in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. The individual will be responsible for interior and exterior building maintenance. He is expected to (1) have knowledge of the building’s maintenance requirements, (2) take the initiative in securing repairs and maintenance of the property’s common elements, and (3) supervise Personnel which includes Site Technicians and Housekeepers. Must have maintenance and supervisory skill in addition to being organized, detail oriented and have excellent customer service skills. Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel and forms of Building Maintenance software (Building Link) is a plus.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish and maintain a preventive maintenance program.
Maintain an organized and accurate system of record keeping.
Schedule and monitor performance of contractors and employees.
Advise the Site Manager in writing of all needed replacements and repairs of equipment and supplies.
Coordinate response to all emergencies on a 24-hours basis.
Perform routine inspections of the exterior/interior of the property.
Maintain records, such as common area inspection reports, equipment maintenance log, preventive maintenance log, mechanical equipment inspection reports.
Motivate staff, perform quarterly reviews, make recommendations for educational advancement for each employee based on their strengths and weaknesses.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with building mechanical and operating systems.
Mechanical certifications a plus (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.)
Detail oriented
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
Knowledge of Building Link and condominium experience a plus
Strong Supervisory skills
